PhilipBitar.com - Critics - John Locke

John Locke
Author of Two Treatises of Government, 1689
An Essay Concerning Human Understanding, 1690

Bitar has created for the 2000s what I created for the 1600s: a theory that establishes a rationale for democracy. In my time, the people had to curb the power of monarchs, while in Bitarís time, the people have to curb the power of representative government.

As I did in my theory, Bitar first establishes what knowledge is because this is the only rational foundation for further knowledge. Bitar then builds on the theory of knowledge to establish a theory of each of these topics, in turn: reality, religion, ethics, commerce, government, and meaning ó the meaning of human life.

As it turned out, my work established the theoretical foundation for the birth of America in the 1700s. I envision that Bitar's work will establish the theoretical foundation for the rebirth of America in the 2000s.
